    Press Plate question?

I got my very first press plates (2). of Rob Schremp. I think they are screwed up. 1, has 3 blue lines down the middle of the card, 1 down the center of his face and body. This card is autographed. Here is a link to see the cards, please take a look at them. I don't know what to do.

I am worried about the blue edeging on this card. It partially blocks out his name at the bottom.

What should I do with these cards. I really want them, but want them to be in good shape. Do I send them back to be replaced? I have never done this before.

Looking at the pics, I don't see anything that isn't typical about most press plates.

Remember what a "press plate" is. These were plates used in the production of the card you see pictured. I would suspect most, if they were actually used (rather than manufactured for the purpose of cards) look like this.

They've been attached to a machine, used to transfer the color of the photo onto a card.... then placed inside a cardboard holder for your enjoyment.

like whats been said thats how they are. The blue lines you see is old dried on ink. nothing to worry about. keep them how they are. All plates that are issued in "The Cup" have the cardboard border around the plate. plates issued in series 2 and french dont have a border, just the metal plate
