Grading - Specific Card Qualities that determine grading submission

I have several cards I think would benefit from getting BCG Graded. I know overall, centering, cornering, cut are huge. But what other specific card variables should be consider in choosing if this card or that card get's submitted?

What cards do you have to submit?

You should also look at the surface of the card as that is taken into consideration. Beckett should have the 4 grading components they use in their criteria for grading.

Centering: 50/50 all around on front. 60/40 or better on back.
Corners: Perfect to the naked eye and Mint under magnification.
Edges: Perfect to the naked eye and virtually free of flaws under magnification.
Surface: No print spots. Flawless color, devoid of registration or focus imperfections. Perfect gloss, devoid of scratches and metallic print lines.

    Card Supplies
    Toploaders 60 point $4, 100 point $7, 140 point $4, 190 point $3, 240 point $3
Soft Sleeves Standard $1 and Thick $1.50
    TOP-LOADER 3X4,100 CT PENNY SLEEVES INCLUDED $11

I have not submitted before, but I'm wanting to submit a few old baseball cards mostly Topps and several of the 2010-11 NHL UD Young Guns and SPx RC Auto Materials (hall, Skinner, etc.) Does the type of card (year, manufacturer weight into the decision)?
