    2011 Press Pack Box

I do not know where to put this, so I am putting it in the "Want" are because it's technically a want.

I have been an on again off again NASCAR fan. I'll watch parts of races every weekend, but I don't follow enough to say I'm a fan. However, I watched the entire Daytona 500, and I think it may have sparked something. I have been a long time fan of the M&M car, Kyle Busch or not, I have a huge collection of M&M memorabilia, not much racing stuff besides one car. So, currently, Kyle Busch is the driver I root for and would ideally like to collect. There are a few others, but nobody

I looked on a site for cards, and found only two boxes out currently for NASCAR. I was wondering if there was a box that I should look at to get started in collecting NASCAR. I'd like to spend less than $60 if I can, but would like something semi current, I could go a little over, but I'm on a tight teacher's budget.

Any suggestions? I'd either buy a box online or I might check out the big retailers to see what they have for packs.

If your looking for a worthwhile box, 2011 Press Pass Eclipse. 3 RU's and 1 auto per box. It does cost about $120 though.

I usually buy boxes from Blowout Cards. They have 2010 Press Pass Stealth for $47.99, with 1 autograph and 1 memorabilia (usually sheetmetal). They also have 2009 Press Pass VIP for $45.99, 1 autograph and 1 memorabilia (usually glove or shoe).

I was looking at the Stealth box because it seemed to have a good number of RU and auto compared to the standard '11 PP box. I'd like to get more for my dollar, with maybe some inserts that are worthwhile to collect. I did like the ticket card found in the '11 PP regular box. Seems like it would be a fun insert series to collect.

I'm looking on Blowout Cards as well. The only '09 box is the VIP. I would maybe think about the VIP box and then a box of the '10 Stealth. I could maybe pull off 2 boxes and get a decent collection started compared to one box for the same price. I really should watch my money and save, but I'm a bachelor teacher who is just out of college. I'm still in the mood to spend my money.

What do you think about those two boxes? '09 VIP and '10 Stealth, or should I go with one box of something from '11. Despite the one hit, I do like the ticket insert for the regular PP, while the element has an extra hit for an extra $9. What do you think? Any experiences?

VIP and Stealth by far are better.

It's cheaper to get the VIP, wise to get two of those compared to one of each? Which one would you say has the better hits?

It'd be best doing one of each.

Are you looking at opening packs or just want the set? For $60 you could probably buy the complete 2011 PP set and multiple low end RU or Autos from this year.

For ordering boxes I use Blowout Cards and BigTsportscards. Both sites prices are only off by a few cents, but you have to spend $150 to get Free shipping.

I'd like to put a set together by opening packs. No joy in buying a whole set. Would like the thrill of the chase by opening packs.

I'm going to take a look at some card designs today and see what I like, the Stealth so far is the front runner.
