Which card boxes are the best?
I recently started collecting this year. I've gotten panini threads and panini prestige picks boxes. I am looking to get another box. However I am not sure which to get. I saw that panini playoff contenders comes out in a few days bit it doesn't look like it's worth the money. Can anybody tell me more about the playoff contender box? Also, should I stick to the same boxes? Like, should I keep buying panini threads? Or should u buy different kinds of boxes? Any suggestions??? Please help

It all depends on what you like and what you want to get out of it. Are you looking to collect, resale, future value? Pick a price range you want to stay in. Watch some box breaks on youtube, and go for the one you like best.

If you are looking to collect cards "that you like", then why are you asking us what to buy? You said you opened Threads and Prestige and that you didn't think Contendors was worth the money. It sounds like you know what you like and don't like....Go with your gut.

I would try opening some 2009-09 boxes. Many good RC cards Upper Deck had an exclusive deal with Kobe, Jordan and Lebron then so if you get an Upper Deck box your could luck out.

All about budget. That being said its still a crap shoot. The best selling products are always the newest until Ebay gets flooded with them and all the set collectors have already purchased what they need. There is luck involved no matter what you buy. The best advice is save your box money and invest it in singles on Ebay and go after stars, hall of famers, or rookies you think may be future stars. I know what fun would that be. If you are asking opinnion I like Threads better than Prestige. Im sure Contenders is even better, but if its like football there will mostly be rookie autos. Who's to say what rookie will avoid injury and be a future hall of famer. Go for National Treasures if you have the money. Thats very high end and your chances of getting a star are much better. Like I said before watch some box breaks and see what you like. If you can afford it then go for it.
I like all products from low to high end. Ive even got some sick cards out of Donruss which is about as low as you can go. Like I said before you need to be lucky no matter what you buy when it comes to busting boxes.

Correct me if im wrong but SP authentic offers a MJ auto in every case? That would hold some value.
