Yup! Now that it's downtime before the next couple of big pay per views and he is banged up, they want to hold him out to protect their investment. He has been carrying this company for a while now and they want to try and build some guys up to see if something unfortunate happens to Punk or Cena, they have someone to carry the load and drive the ship...
Since the only other big draws right now are the part timers like Lesnar/HHH/Rock/Taker/Jericho... no one really full time on the roster that draws a big crowd except now maybe Ryback with the way they are pushing him... we shall see but bummed to not see him at MOney in the Bank when they come to Philly

Just saw this on www.wwe.com.
WWE.com has learned that WWE Champion John Cena sustained an injury during WWE's European tour. The WWE Champion injured his right Achilles tendon while battling Ryback.
The injury raises questions about the scheduled match between Cena and Ryback at Extreme Rules on May 19. What lies ahead for the Cenation leader? Does this put Ryback one step closer to capturing the WWE Title?
There are no details yet about Cena's expected recovery time.
