I'm a Midwesterner; they mustn't use that term in these states. I'm used to "yard sale" and "garage sale" all the time.
I also noted BlackDiamond is from Indiana. I suppose that confirms my above guess. :)

Haha...yep you are right JJ....although I am originally from Southern California and they also called them yard/garage sales.

They call them rummage sales here in MI. You'll also hear them called yard sales as you mentioned. I've never heard the term tag sale before either. :>)

Where I come from, garage sale and sometimes yard sale are the only ones used. Also, around here, a rummage sale is more like something a church wold put on, where bunches of people bring in stuff to donate.
Anyway, great find (I still always check my local newspaper for sales listing cards ;) )
