Oscar Robertson
Does anyone have a picture big enough for a 8x10 of Oscar Robertson?

Disagree....Oscar Robertson is like a lot of other people...sometimes he signs, sometimes he does not. I do not know how I was fortunate enough but I live 90 mins from him and live in Ohio. Just because others have had failures, not all of us have....therefore, why don't we just help out nolafan with his original request.

I do not hold grudges against anyone in this hobby....sometimes they sign, sometimes they do not. Lawrence Taylor just sent back 2 cards unsigned with no explanation. I wrote him a respectful letter....it does not mean I'm going to tell others not to try, I just advised my experience.

DeadHorse,
I'm very happy for you. You're right, he should try it for himself. I've tried him 3 times in the past two years and have gotten the same results the majority of people have gotten on this site (SCF). 1) Opens my request 2) Stuffs my unsigned cards in my letter 3) Stuffs everything in my SASE 4) Mails it back without any explanation. The good part is that he sends everything back, including my donations. I would have preffered that he would just RTS. This way, you could re-use your SASE for someone else. But hey, since he has a 60% success average I think more people should send to him so that they can experience the process for themselves. It just will not be me... By the way, did he sign your pic? I can't see it.Last edited by lizard-jd; 02-24-2011 at 06:37 PM.

I am just on the fence about sending to someone who just signs his name "Big O".
Do you think he signs his checks that way?
I remember long ago being at an Autorama and kid TV star (at the time) Adam Rich (Eight is Enough) was signing autographs. The line was really long and we stood for what seemed to be hours( probably more like 45 minutes). Anyway, It's my turn and he signs "AR". That was it. What a jip!
Now, Adam Rich is no Oscar Robertson, but I am still on the fence about a "Big O" graph. Anyone else?

I agree, "Big O" doesn't cut it for me either. It's like a Bobby Bonilla with a "BoBo" graph or a Hanley Ramirez with an "H2R" that you can't read the letters. I have a 2010 Home Run Derby ball that I wanted to give Hanley to sign but I'm holding off because I don't him to ruin a $25 ball...
