Just Send This Request/Suggestion To Panini
Figured I'd post it here as well, just in case someone from Panini that sees it here has some input. Also would like input from others here that may be interested in such a card and/or other players missing such cards.
Hi, I just have a suggestion for a future release. Is it possible that you can create a game-used trading card for Sean Avery? Maybe it's an issue with the player himself (or maybe just lack of collectors inquiring), but as far as I know there has never been a game-used card released for him. No jersey, no patch, no puck, no stick, nothing. This goes for all current hockey card producers, not just Panini, so I suspect the demand for such a card should exist. I know I want one for my collection. He also has very few official autograph cards (only 6 that I know of and 2 are short-print parallels), so a combination auto/memorabilia card would be awesome as well. Just figured I'd put this out there, because if you can release similar product for guys like Steve Ott, Jordin Tootoo, and Cal Clutterbuck, I hope it's in your power to be able to release something equally awesome for one of the greatest NHL agitators of all-time. Thank you!!
I'm probably one of the very few Sean Avery collectors and admittedly I only started it recently, but here's hoping to some awesome cards to round out the collection. My goal is to get all of his cards, but without any game-used it would just feel incomplete. =(

good luck. i can't stand the guy, but I agree with you. He does deserve some hobby love.
He would fit in with the certified "collision course", and the "against the glass" (donruss?)...

Don't know if I had anything to do with it or not, but this is awesome yay!!!!!
I did get a reply about a month ago thanking me for the suggestion and that they'd look into it. Hopefully this means more on the way, sweet!
