Brent Sopel should provide an additional vetern presence on the blueline.

Unfortunately, the hated Leafs have been on a roll this month. I felt starting Auld versus an extremely motivated (but often not) division rival might have been a mistake. Anyway, the penalty-kill did a horrible job tonight and that is what killed the Habs. Usually allowing multiple power-play goals in a game makes it very difficult to win games...

I remember at the first of the this month I predicted that we would lose maybe twice (Nucks and Caps). It appears that I had it all backwards. We lost to all the chump teams, and beat two good teams.
