Ebay purchase issue

So on February 17th, I purchased this card from chav1707 on ebay. I bought it for $20.00 Buy It Now.

The seller has this in his item discription:

Shipping: $2.50 to the US (add $2 for insurance)
Please ask for pricing to other countries

So I go ahead and email the seller for a shipping price. I get no reply. I then email him the exact same email again, just incase he didn't get the first one, still no reply. Then just a few minutes ago, I got this email from eBay...

So my question is, what do I do? The seller is not replying to my messages and my account could be frozen due to the stupidity of the seller.

I would try one last email to him.... but...

When I go to the auction and click on the 'Shipping and payments' tab, it shows $2.05 for USPS First Class International (to Canada) or $21.75 for USPS Priority Mail International.

You could pay for the win using that S&H cost, take a screen shot of the proof and use it to argue against him if you need to.

That's what I'd do -- obviously he's going to want more than that for S&H but it's the sellers fault for not responding to your messages.

That's weird, it didn't have that before. I'm hesitant on paying now because im afraid I won't get the card. He seems to have left ebay, he hasn't left feedback for anyone since July 11, 2010. The big question is, what's the worst that could happen if I don't pay for it?

Yeah.. looks like he's just one of those sellers who don't bother to leave the buyer some feedback.

In your shoes, I'd pay with the stated shipping cost.. but that's just me.

The rates are there at the bottom, make sure you grab yourself a screenshot and you should be fine.

The seller finally contacted me and apparently he sent me an invoice the day the auction ended lol (I didn't get an invoice). He ended up charging me $4 for shipping, whatever, id rather pay that than get a negative feedback.

If you check over his feedback, it seems he's a bit of a slow shipper. Also by him not leaving feedback for others makes me wonder how he expects to get repeat buyers... Anyone that doesn't leave me feedback, doesn't get my business again!
