Problems with eBay?
Well of course we all hate eBay. High fees, DSRs, overprotected buyers, etc. I was wondering if anybody had some other issues on eBay. If so, how would it be changed for the better? Basically what I am asking is if you could make the decisions on how eBay did things, what would you change? Looking forward to reading some comments and suggestions for eBay. (not like they'd care)

They have made some of the changes I'd been preaching for forever (better feedback system to avoid retaliatory negatives, etc). However I would like them to waive the fee for accepting PayPal payments for eBay purchases since they are forcing you to use it. Honestly I am surprised they have not been sued about this yet. Back in the day when you use to up your already high bid it would still go up, they got sued for that and had to pay millions of dollars. Ultimately I'd just like to see a reduction in fees, if they aren't making money hand over fist then someone is not running that place right.

I think we all can agree about the fees, the one thing i would like to see is better customer service to include customer service people that deal with certain thing, like a team for sportcards/memorabilia and so on, in the past when i had to call in they had no idea what a rc card was.

+1 on this for sure! I mean they are the same company and they double dip you with any ebay purchase.
Also, provide a discount for sellers that have free shipping.

Yeah, the general population doesn't exactly know what a rookie card is.

I agree with this too. Say you sell an item for $1. Ebay takes there .12 cent cut then you're hit with pay paypal fees of .30 + 3% of the final value and you're left .55.

Most the things mentioned are the only problem I have. I've been lucky to never have any issues on ebay. Fees are bad, but thats why I sell on trading boards and checkoutmycards as well, ebay isnt the end all be all.
I've talked with some of my buddies though how what ebay is doing HAS to be illegal, no way they can monopolize the market by forcing people to use paypal..I wish someone with time/money would sue them over it, they could make millions
