Finally sent requests!
I have spurts where I just do not want to mess with sending requests. I have had 200 stamps, envelopes and cards sitting around for the last three months. I still have been getting some returns and looking to see who was signing, but just not mailing. Last night I set down and got busy with 50 ST requests going out in todays mail. It felt good to finally get some requests out. I might get some more out later tonight. Am I the only one who drifts in and out of doing requests? I usually do not leave mailing for that long, but there are usually a few times a years that I step back from mailing. Do you all try to do a certain number a week or a month? What are your mailing habits?

I drift in and out a ton as I have been collecting for over 10 years and seem to run out of people to send to or just get plain busy from time to time but it always seems that I get something good in that lights the fire again!

Oh, I'm just like that with everything. At a low point mailing wise right now.

Last 2 months i have sent out a total of 9 request. Just takin a break from that aspect & seeing what trickles in. Im at a point now that i get maybe 2 a week back. But if i do see a player signing i send to them right away. I have a stack of about 9 guys im sending out tomorrow. That will be my biggest send out since the super bowl.
Since football has stoped for the season, Request have really slowed for me.

I have spurts that I send in. I sent out a bunch for Spring Training and don't plan on sending out much more for a while unless I see a bunch of returns from someone I really want to try and get. I currently have 162 requests still floating around out there. Might as well wait for some more of those to find their way home.

I've been very lazy. One of my TTM New Year's resolution was to send MORE requests. Between November and December I had only sent 2...TWO!!
Last month I did a bit better with about 8 requests. I just didn't have any time, and when I did, I would actually fall asleep writing the letters or making the customs.
FINALLY! I told myself I wasn't going to go nuts with spring training this year. Ya know, just send to a couple Mets. Once I got a few Mets customs made, I fell in love with the custom design and thought, "well what would <iinsert name here> look like?"
So, I got the ball rolling and just sent out about 20 requests to spring training...well, technically 14. I am finishing up the rest of the letters now to go out tomorrow.

I usually send in waves. I'll send out 15-20 in a weekend, then enoy getting them back, but I dont send any out during the time I get stuff back, so then I get nothing for say a week, It annoys me and I send out 15-20 more. This usually happens every 4 -5 weeks.

I've sent out about 30-40 email requests in the last month since TwinsFest.
I've seen six/seven come back so far, got a double of Hochuli since one ripped in the mail.
My goal is to do one email request per night, if possible, 3-4. Weekends I try to get at least 4-6 out. Except, I've started struggle finding coaches I want to email to. I'm looking to see if there are any college players that sign via their school's athletic department.

I cheated and did a form letter to knock another 40 out on Sunday! That is something I usually hate doing, but it made 40 requests an hour long task. I will be interested to see how those go!
