http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=355721
25-year-old defenceman Brent Seabrook will be a member of the Chicago Blackhawks for the foreseeable future.
Seabrook signed a five-year, $29 million contract with the team on Sunday. The cap hit is $5.8 million per season.
"Brent is a very important member of our organization and we are looking forward to him being part of a core group that will be a contender for many years to come," said Blackhawks vice-president and general manager Stan Bowman in a statement. "We have been fortunate to have Brent as part of our family since he was a teenager and we are proud to be able to announce this news today."
Great signing for the Hawks - certainly a much better deal than the Campbell contract.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I'm glad they took care of that now instead of the waiting till the off season.
That Campbell contract is horrible and we still have 5 years with it.
