How to get this card signed?

New situation on some cards I need signed.

Ok I've got a few of these Upper Deck Ice cards. They basically are plastic and have a protective film on them. I was planning to remove the film off them, because if it ever got taken off later there goes the autograph. Is there anyway to prepare a card like this? I know I don't want to scratch it or do any damage since it is plastic.
Will the usual baby powder or eraser do anything or just leave it?

For clarification, are we talking about something like this?

No it is almost a see thru card. It is plastic I'd imagine. But the image of him on the front is the same on the back. Like they make it fit even though its on the opposite side.

    Here is a pic.

no clue how you would prepare something like this. If you have an extra i would grab a sharpie & mess around with it. Eraser could just dull the surface making it pretty obvious where the eraser was. Try a small amount of baby powder, that might do the trick.

I would experiment on a extra first. Hate to try & get them signed & the auto not show up because you wasn't prepared.

Take off the film and use a Staedtler marker when you get it signed. It wont come off or smear and no prep work.

Yeah I gotta look thru my cards and find one like it. I really don't want to use one of the cards I want to get signed. I just bought them so to mess with them I'm all set. Plus I hardly have any of the guy. But believe I have others like it with multiples to mess with.
Hopefully I can use regular sharpie because those Staedtler pens look expensive.

Ah guess I'll have to find a Staedtler pen if anyone knows where they are sold. I found one of these same cards of another guy. Had no film on it and I had others so it wasn't a total loss to screw with it. But sharpie will definitely smudge if handled wrong. Doesn't dry fast enough.

Anyone know where to find them? Do they come in blue? Also what size is comparable to the tip of a fine point sharpie? the bullet head one? I did look around a little, but would rather buy in store than online.
