    How do you organize inventory?

    Hey all,

This is a continual talk of discussion for us in sports cards.

I haven't figured out an effective way to order cards as of yet.

Here's what I have in mind: sort the types of cards such as base, inserts, refractor, game used, rookies, autographs, etc., put those together in teams, and then do it all by years.

    This is where I'm at.

My personal plan is to be an online dealer, do the flea market(s), eventually travel to shows, and lastly open a brick and mortar.

In doing the above I'm thinking that most of your interest will come by way of player/team collectors and for those set searchers they would I suppose have to sift through the aforementioned method and find their needs?

So in the end I'm looking for the streamlined way of serving the majority while making it as easy as possible for everyone.

And what are your thoughts, experiences, and/or findings?

    Thanks,

    Brian
