Anyone excited about the ipad 2 announcement?

I am just to see if it dumps their stock price. :)
It will be interesting to see what type of upgrades there will be, but I wouldn't expect too many. Probably software upgrade and maybe memory/hard drive space expansions, but who knows what apple will come up with.

I think apple is wasting time and money on so many new equipment in such a short time. People just got the first one and now they are coming with the 2nd

I don't think they are wasting time and money. It's pretty typical for them and other computer makers. New technology is already coming out. I doubt anyone that has the ipad 1 will go out and upgrade unless they are a person that likes to have the newest gadget. They will still sell ipad 2's. There are lots of people that like to wait until the second of something comes out in case there are some bugs. Plus this allows Apple to drop the price on the ipad 1 $100 so that may drive people that were on the fence to go out and pick one up.

It's good to stay up on technology so we don't lag behind.
I heard about a buy back program where somewhere like Best Buy will purchase your out dated item to go towards a new one. That's neat.
I'm actually getting back in the technology loop so I'm doing some learning.

Did not see it that way...thanks for the informarion. I also heard that Apple is going to give a refund to people who bought the IPAD1 in February....that is kinds cool from their part
