Another bright idea!
I'm not sure how alot of you find your cards to get signed. Whether you have them all inventoried or what. And if you just randomly send for autos or go based off a success/failure site. But I use one of those sites and if I want to send I have to go thru all my cards and see if I have anything of them.
So my idea is, once you have used up all your cards on one guy enter his name on a spreadsheet list, so you can refer to it later and check. That way if you eliminated all your cards of him previously then you don't go looking again next time you see a success and want to send to a guy.

I keep all my base cards by player last name and I usually don't send to a guy more than once unless I need him for a set. Bug I keep my unsigned set cards separate from the others. It took a while to organize them this way but I find that it really works great and makes it easy to stay organized.

I'm a mainly hockey collector so my stuff is all by team, then alphabetized. Boy did that take a while to do. Then my baseball, football and basketball are sorted as best I can by set.

When we uaed to get alot of IP via minor league baseball I would organize all the prospects and players that I thought might be in the minors via last name. Now that I mostly TTM I just keep an 800 count box of players that I might mail off to. I always add and subtract from that box.
