    How should I start collecting?

Ive been collected baseball cards since I was a child most were hand me downs from older relatives, I don't really have many sought after cards since almost all packs were bought at retail stores until i found the local flea market. Now ive grown out of baseball and I really like football. So now that I have a clean slate how should i start my collection. I bought 4 dolphins single cards just to have in my card display in my room.

I have a feeling I should start buy buying a hobby box and going from there. I REALLY like rookies and young underrated players, they always have been a thing a liked, just something about the fact that there good and unheard of was always appealing to me. I was thinking of getting like a 2010 Press Pass hobby box or 2010 Absolute Memorabilia box since I think the cards with the football and jersey are awesome. And I feel that those sets are geared towards young football players.

It depends on your budget. If you have a lot of money then you can afford to burn it on packs and boxes but if you don't have much money to spare then buying the singles you want would be the smartest move.

Topps Chrome is a fun product to open if you like rookies. It's a good price too.

I am just getting in to the hobby after a long break too. I bought a couple of boxes and am selling and trading what I can and keeping what I want. It works pretty well for me. I really like Topps Chrome.

Seems like thats the best way to do it, probably gonna get a box today. Or Topps Platinum they look good too and include more valuable cards with 2 autographed cards and a patch card. Compared to one autograph. I hear chrome is hit or miss too, which is a little appealing because a hit would have alot of the cards im looking for.
