ebay win goes missing or does it
2004 BOWMAN CHROME JORDIN TOOTOO GOLD REF AUTO 3/5
saw this card on ebay ,went to go make an offer and could'nt it was only
available to united states only at bin or best offer 499.99.i was willing to offer 250.00 but could not even contact the owner.after waiting a few weeks my patience pays off ,the owner puts it in auction at low starting bid so i watch it till last few minutes of end of auction.so i throw my 250.00 bid and thrilled i win it for 150.00 usd plus 14.95 for shipping with tracking .so i wait for a few weeks nothing comes in the mail .so i contact
the owner and ask for the tracking number and when it was shipped .he tells me hes women took it to work and was gonna ship it out after work was done .then he emails me saying she forgot it at work for the weekend .ok so i give him a few more days .another email comes in saying that she had shipped it .i said ace i was excited and waiting because it was an awesome card to add for my tootoo collection.a nother week passes still no card ,i asked for tracking info and he says she sent it regular mail .so by this time ebay send message saying to please leave feedback if there is a problem start a claim ,so i am not loosing out on 150.00 dollars because this guy thinks he got ripped off for selling a card he want 499.99 for only 150.00 .so i start a claim and end up recieving my money back which i am pleased because still no card .but now i am getting threatned because this guy says all us canadians are all scam artists and thats why he doesnt ship to canada . i told him if i do get the card i will reimburse him the money i have no problem doing that because i really wanted that card .so if anyone sees this tootoo card please lmnk know . and hope this guy stops with the threatening emails

Excuses, excuses, excuses. Seriously, his wife took the card to work and left there for the weekend? Come on, man! I love Mrs. RGM81 more than life itself but I do my cardboard business myself. I wonder how his wife would feel about being scapegoated like that.

So you paid 14.95 for shipping and he didnt get the mail registered? thats his loss not yours. when i first started trading i traded to an out of country address and the card never showed up, i had to settle and give other cards to make up for the lost mail. It was a high dollar trade, and if i knew i could have sent it registered i would have, but i was told there was no way you can track a package out of the country. Bottom line is you paid extra for shipping. It shouldnt cost more than $5 regular mail, so its his mistake and should know how to take care of the DC and tracking. Hope you get the card, and still make good on your word so he doesnt think everyone is out to get him. Good luck!

This boneheaded seller never shipped your card in the 1st place. He waited until you filed for refund, when it cleared, he then began to whine like a child.
There are hundreds of sellers on eBay that ship nothing when they don't enough money. They are counting on people NOT filing a claim.

lets give benefit of the doubt: registered mail can be obnoxious, i've had a package take up to a month and it wasnt until i filed a case with USPS did it go through. Or he could be lying about sending it. Or his wife declared the price as $150 and now a customs agent pocketed it. or you live in quebec which makes this even more likely. or you could be lying (lol)....or the card could be stuck in customs legimately
...either way he wont be able to sell it online without you finding out. good thing you got your money back

Red flags all over that one. 14.95 and he shipped it regular mail? Added to the blocked list.

HI Buddy, you did the right thing filing a claim. Even if he sent it it should have been to you by now. And you said you'd pay him if it came which I know you would. Report him to ebay for the threatening emails, he can be banned for that. A friend of mine was just banned for calling a buyer a liar in an email. Up to you what you want to do.
