Why are these cards so abundant in Nice condition ?

It seems like I can always tell (even before sorting) when these are in a "Shoebox lot" because of the high quality.

Just wondered if I may learn something, perhaps 50 cases discoverd in the 90's or something...IDK :)

Ok so I find a box of my better Vintage(actually I'm putting a PSA submission together) The 52's are really sharp w/high gloss, and the corners look worse in the scan(Go figure...lol). Pulling these cards made me "REALLY Appreciate" the CardBoard years...Man the cardstock is thick!!
Anyway, I find the best Rose rc I have, but It doesn't seem right!?

Yes... sadly the Rose turned out to be counterfeit (The pain in having to stamp this card)


Oh Well....All that work(well it was), and I come to realize the $5 PSA special is modern only, Doh!!! It was still fun looking through some older cards for a change.

but nice finds!i wish i could find cards from the 50s!
