I have now watched that replay well over 100 times.

Naslund was interfered with by Moore in a deleterious manner, Moore hit him a full 2 seconds after he got rid of the puck, and the refs simply missed the call.

Bertuzzi honoured that age old Hockey Rule. Never leave your Captain in the lurch. The series of events which unfolded immediately after were brutal and uncalled for, but the entire incident was preventable.

Both players have paid dearly for it, and will continue to do so, which is the saddest note of all.

you need to watch the video again then as it wasn't even two second with the video slowed down. Also the puck is only about 5 feet away from Naslund at the initial impact. Pause at 1 second and it will be clear

5 feet away is no different than the puck being in the next Province. Interference is interference, Naslund had given up the puck and was NOT in possession.

his neck broke because both lines on both teams jumped on top of him like a bunch of retards. it was just unlucky for bertuzzi that he landed on top of him

I watched the video again. Naslund gave up the puck and Moore still blew through him.

Again, I'm not saying "He deserved what he got." I'm saying he's not a golden-haired angel-boy like so many portray him.
