Questions about MJ Patch?
1. Does this card usually sell that high?

Nice card and I plan to pay a lot for it but I was still outbidded. (Book value $250-450)
Really nice patch and numbered to 25 but I really surprise this card went higher than MJ Ultimate Auto.
2. Is this card's patch legit?

#2 to your question. It is fake. That year of GU, it was a jersey only. There was no patch in that set at all. However, you can find multi-color jersey on grant hill because of screen print on Piston jersey.

#1 yes it seems about right, MJ's patches can sell for crazy prices if they don't show up often. Thats the first nice 3clr one of those i've seen all the others i've seen come up have been 2clr patches.
#2 as xavieronly1 has said they were jersey only with exceptions on the GHill with screen printed multi colour and i've also seen Olajuwon multi colour screen printed aswell
#3 I'd say that card would sell between $60-100

Thank you for all responses.
A bit dissapoint that I can't win that MJ Ultimate Patch. (That patch looks really nice, maybe at the limted logo level)
I was surprise when I bidded a bit more than $400 and I still didn't win. The fact that if I have to pay nearly $500, I can get some nice MJ on-card auto instead keeping me from bidding higher.Last edited by airnoname; 03-09-2011 at 12:06 PM.

The Ultimate is real, just shilled IMO
That jordan jersey is 1000% fake and there was a seller by the name of chrisbub I think that had a few of them including this one, which makes me believe he made these cards. He said they were all pulled by him and his son.
The last card is very nice, real. About $125-$150, there are two on ebay so I would expect the lower amount. I did pay quite a premium for my 23/25 in that same card, but with a much better patch.

1. They sell for $400us usually - last sale was a year back.
2.Like another member said 1000% fake.
