    Golf project idea

I've been thinking of perhaps starting a few golf projects for the Major tournaments (Masters, US Open, British Open, and PGA). I originally was thinking of doing a pin flag, but that seems like it would be expensive to be repeatedly shipped and I would get afraid of sending after a while. So now I'm thinking of doing a picture of a pin flag for the Master and the British Open and sending off small pieces to each golfer and piecing them all together like a mosaic. For the US Open and PGA though I'm not entirely sure as the logo changes from year to year, so I was thinking of maybe doing small, baseball card sized pictures of pin flags and maybe piecing those together in the end also. I was just wondering if any of you guys have any cool ideas of what I could do too? Also, I've heard that some guys like Arnold Palmer and Phil Mickelson use autopens?

    Thanks guys

Also not sure where to go to get pictures of pin flags from early US Opens and PGA Championships?

Arnold Palmers are not autopen, have a few and they are different.

These Masters cards below are part of the Masters project I was working on. They are easy to send and they look great in a nice framed and matted piece. Just an idea for Masters winners. Good luck.

From what I gather from your post, you want all of the signatures on one item. That will not work for the Masters as the winner signs inside the logo on the pin flag and if you are getting all winners, there ain't enuff room. Best of my knowledge Palmer and Mickelson are hand signed. Mickelson might be the most polite and generous athlete in any sport that you can get an autograph from.

I am thinking about sending out pin flags in the form of custom cards for winners of the Masters and U.S. Open to sign. For the Masters I was just going to send out the regular Masters flag, but for the U.S. Open winners I was going to send out a flag I made for each year. In more recent times the U.S. Open has had a logo each year, but for earlier ones I was going to just make my own with "U.S. Open" and the course logo on the flag.

For example, here is my flag I made for the 1959 U.S. Open at Winged Foot

What do you guys think? Is this a good idea? Is there anything you would suggest other than what I have done?

    Thanks a ton.

not a bad idea. Few suggestions:
    1.) make the 18 smaller
2.) Make "US Open" on one line at the bottom

Both of these will give the player more room to sign.

I was just trying to model it after these

Here are my first three successes for the project. I think they are coming out pretty nicely.
