    Cool

Gotta love encouragement of eating vegetables, being healthy and doing research, Brian. However, I researched 'alkine water' and was not impressed. One case in point from a source that the vast majority of people here have heard of (The Mayo Clinic) and probably trust:

Is alkaline water better for you than plain water? (Answer below--Katherine Zeratsky, R.D., L.D. is a Mayo Clinic nutritionist)

    Question

Alkaline water: Better than plain water?

Is alkaline water better for you than plain water?

    Answer

    from Katherine Zeratsky, R.D., L.D.

For most people, plain water is best.

Alkaline water has a higher pH level than does tap water. Some proponents say that alkaline water can neutralize acid in your bloodstream, boost your energy level and metabolism, and help your body absorb nutrients more effectively. Others say that alkaline water can help you resist disease and slow the aging process. However, researchers haven't verified these claims.

Some research does suggest that alkaline water may slow bone loss, but further study is needed to determine if the positive effects can be maintained over the long term or influence bone mineral density overall.

As for me, I'll stick with God-given water--not machine-processed water.

God given water is not the same as God made it when water was first presented. Take into account all the toxins and pollution man has been apart of for a long time now.

God gives man wisdom to restore things back to how he intended. Therefore insert a water machine here.

Go ahead, drink bottled, well, or tap water, and while that's better than other drink choices, you'll end up short of your full potential. What I'm here for is advocating steps up to higher realization.

If you happen to believe that everything mainstream available to us is right on target with no big flaws, then I am here to help anyone over that. Any typical doctor that prescribes to anything other than proper education and encourages personal responsibility is no good.

I understand we can take a first glance at something new, then accept anything that will aid in or allow us not to change, and thus let us go on with life in our comfort zone.

    Thanks for responding.

I used to be fit. I worked out all the time and even considered a job as a personal trainer. I passed all the test but then got a job as a poker dealer and probably gained 30 pounds with working night shifts and not having time to work out as I was always tired. 4 years later Im steal dealing. Making good money but I havnt got back into shape as I once was. Im getting married in 3 months and Im going to try my hardest to lose all the weight. Ive never really worked out and ate right at the same time. Usually working out hard and eating whatever I liked worked for me. Time to try them both.

    BSU-

    Thanks for the comments.

You can easily shed off the extra pounds.

I was never bad off in health, just generally like a bunch of people, a little overweight, and never really had a bunch of energy.

Once I looked into and experiemented with introducing ionized alkaline water to my life, along with raw food, Redmond's Real Salt, and essential oils, I have realized a totally new me.

The weight became ideal, I now have mental clarity, the energy is sustainable, my skin has gotten smoother, my muscles have toned, etc.

This is a great foundation to have. In maintaining this everyday, I must say it's a true miracle to live out daily.

I highly suggest and encourage the material of Dr. Robert O Young. He has proven to me to shed some interesting light on a lot of what is seen as error all around us. Things seem like a mystery to many as disease/sickness sets in so commonly and Dr Young has some compelling insight backed by science that is literally groundbreaking.

I'm here if you need assistance!

What happened in chapter 1 of the bible when the guys only ate vegetables?

A lot of people chose to ignore that part of it.

A lot of people chose to ignore that part of it.

And alot choose to ignore this....
Romans 14:2-3, "One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The mans who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him."

I agree with one of the first posts, in saying that avocados are one of the best for you! They may not taste like much, but they are extremely healthy. I have one in my wrap lunch each day. Cutting back on orange juice (lots of sugar) and drinking more milk and water is good. I am also starting to have an extra banana or apple each day.
Also wanted to add on that dark green vegetables are the best for you, than light green coloured vegetables. Just wanted to throw that fact out there.

Thanks Mason you are right on about lovely avocados!

And mrveggieman (cool name!!), yes they can ignore Daniel Chapter 1 but Gold's Word holds true and strong through eternity.

As for the cited Romans 14-2:3 by Sanfran, that's a passage that is not transalated in literal terms by the Spirit. Rather it's interpreted as the man in strong faith has more freedom in living while the man growing in weaker faith is temporarily bound to specific limited understanding. If these verses were to be taken literal, and the man strong in faith ate everything, he'd definitely have trouble in hearing God accurately!
