    BGS vs PSA question

I got a question, If PSA 9 would turn into a BGS 9 or would it turn into a 9.5?

Anyone have exp. in turning PSA slabs to BGS? What was the outcome?

My understanding is it is the other way. A psa 9 Would be a Bgs 8.5.

By no means am i an expert and am curious on others opinions as well.

i think the BGS rating is harding to acheive then a PSA rating, i.e. a BGS: 8 could equal a PSA 9.

Could be mixing the two up, also curious on others opinions as well.

I've heard the same; BGS grades tougher than PSA. Seems to me that highly graded BGS cards command a premium.

Has anyone sent a PSA card into BGS? I have 2 PSA 9 cards but I like the BGS holders and how they give subs. Wondering if they will come back the same, more, or less in grade.

my collection is all BGS 9.5 except these 2 cards so to match I'm hoping for BGS 9.5 transfer...These aren't commonly graded cards so I snagged the ones that I was for sale even though they were PSA. They wont be for resale as they are PC cards and to be honest very few would want them anyway.

So, I'm trying to see if a what is the results of some others that have done this.

my recommendation would be to search for the two cards that are PSA graded, and buy a second set to get graded by BGS.

i doubt they will grade it equally... just my thought anyway.

BGS used to be tougher, now PSA tends to be.

Should I crack it out of the PSA holder before sending or send it in the PSA holder?
