It's a PSA 9 with a PD (printing defect) qualifier. This is one of the criticisms collectors have about early PSA-graded cards--it really is a 9, but has a qualifier, so it isn't worth as much as an straight 9, but is it worth more than a straight 8? Hard to tell. They should (and I think they subsequently did) remove the qualifiers from their grading process and just factor that into the overall grade. If you're looking for a straight 9, pass on this one. They're not hard to find.
