    Possible Fake Patch

    http://cgi.ebay.com/09-10-SP-Authent...item3365d25b87

I am a Neuvirth collecter. Every other card ive ever seen from this set was using a photo shoot jersey from one of the old Black and Bronze jersey's. Ive literally never seen one using the new red. Cant say 100% it is a fake but I wouldnt buy it. Anyone else have an opinion on it?

Actually when i looked at the enlarged scan, it looks like there is part sticking out from the bottom left corner so ill agree with borcky for saying its fake without too much research into it. Also looking at the sellers feedback, he has sold a lot of sick patches.

I may have to say fake without looking into it more. Looks pretty sweet and I wish they used the nice jerseys but the old ones have sick patches. I'd stay way.

If it helps, I bought this from him the other day, based on others I've seen, I wouldn't say it's fake:

    Stay away from this seller.

Any reason you would say that? If you're going to say something like that you may want to back it up with some information other then "Stay away from this seller".

Looking through his feedback he has sold some nice cards, but nothing I would consider "overwhelming". So either he is so brilliant that he fakes patches that make them look above average....Or the cards are legit. Bottom line is, if your gut tells you it's fake, then wait for the next one. I personally think the seller is legit, but that's just my opinion.

Not to mention, after searching Neuvirth 09-10 patches...they all look like they come from the same kind of jersey?.. I'm not an caps jersey expert but...

They all have come from the new red jerseys except the 09-10 AP Authentic Future Watch patches. Those came from the old black and bronze jerseys/ Ive got one, and have seen a bunch others. None of those came from the red jersey

Hmm, that seems odd they would use the new red ones on all the other sets but not that one. Maybe you can call upper deck and see if they can confirm that they used the red in some of them? They may not know/tell you, but if they do it would confirm it.

Well, this dude already sold alot of fake patch in the past. There's been alot of thread about this guy, he got some nice cards, but some are fake.

Anyway, if you think its legit, go for it.
125$ for that card is way too much for a event-used patch(if its legit)
