Slow Spring
Has anyone else been getting frustrated by a slow start to spring training like me? I've only gotten 2 returns so far this spring, (from Garrett Atkins and Eric Young Jr.) and I did not get one all week. I'm hoping for a change in luck, but I was wondering if anyone else is feeling the same way that I am?

Somewhat. I've only gotten 4 back and I'm probably one of the few who didn't get Vlad. Maybe I'll have better luck next week.

It has been on my end. I've sent around twenty to the "sure thing" guys.. I know of quite a few that will come back, I just gotta wait for the player to sign a batch, and some have only been out for 7 days.
I haven't gotten Vlad either.. I'm sending another tomorrow..

I have sent 17 and gotten 1 RTS and 3 successes. However, several of the players I sent to were long shots.

This thread happens every ST! I always get a kick out of it and have been waiting for it this year! BE PATIENT! TTM can take some time. I actually still have returns coming in from last season ST and expect that the same will happen with some of this seasons mailers.

Thanks for your input. I guess since last spring was my first spring sending out and they came in pretty quickly I was getting kind of frustrated. Best of luck to all!

I'm 3/34 and I sent on Valentine's day. Haven't gotten one back in 10 days from spring training. My list was about 50% sure things 25% longshots and 25% in between, so this is particularly frustrating as I played it safe with my requests. Infuriating.
I have one into Vlad may send another, but it might be too late- thoughts?

PS it's easy for these boards to tell us to be patient when everyone is getting vlad and now buster posey is coming in, but I'm sitting here with zilch.

The season was over before I had gotten two of my best from last ST! Joey Votto and Josh Hamilton both signed very late for me and I was not one of the lucky guys who had gotten CC Sabathia or Strasburg, but I was thrilled with my mailers when all was said and done. My only RTS was Nettles c/o Yankees so far and it came Saturday! That took longer to happen than some of my returns! As long as the items were not RTS, I still have a chance. It is one of those glasses half full or half empty things.

The whole Vlad thing is pretty frustrating, I’ll admit. I was probably the second or third person on this board to send to him and I didn’t get anything back, meanwhile other people got quick success and multiple people got multiple successes from Vlad (2/2, 3/3, 4/4). I’m pretty dumbfounded by the entire ordeal. Vlad is the only ST that I’m actually frustrated about too, the others ones I sent, I’m completely fine with. The Vlad saga though is really wearing me out though. I can just see those new O's PP cards coming in June, July, or August....
