Vive La Difference
In the English speaking World this letter "Z" is pronounced Zed. In the USA it is an old 60's brand of Toilet Paper call "Zee". Lol
Garbage Frozen Pizza in the USA is called:
Digiorno. In Canada the same thing is called Delissio. You can die from both, or get Fat in a hurry. Both are terrible. Lol.
Sports Uniforms in North America are called "Jerseys"
Aussie Rules Football Uniforms are called "Guernsey's" you know, the other British Island, or the other Brown Cow that gives milk. Thank goodness they aren't called Holsteins.....Lol
In Europe and Canada, the Word "Ice" is never placed in front of the word "Hockey" it's a given that we aren't talking about non-contact skirt-wearing nonsense played on a field with midget stick nubs, or that silly game played on wheels that has gone the way of the Pet Rock.
In North America, those little rubber things you put in your mouth so that you don't lose your Chicklets are called "Mouth Guards" In the rest of the English Speaking World they are called "Gum Shields" Lol.
In North America, when you get stomped on, on the field, you get "Cleated" In Europe and in the Rugby World, you get a "Shoeing".
In North America when 2 players lose their cool and start punching each other, it's called a "Tilt", especially if it's entertaining and they each land a few. In Rugby in the World, it's called "Han™™™™s" - Like they are hitting each other with Purses..... Lol
