    Bad Or Good?

    I gave up a 08-09 UD Black on card Auto of Chris Paul #ed /35 for A 1967 Topps Willie Mays. Is It a bad trade or good trade? What do you guys think? Thanks!

    I think anytime someone trades vintage superstars for current ones the vintage always wins. Chris Paul could tear his MCL next week and never be the same, whereas Willie Mays will always be Willie Mays, and this is a classic card! It looks fairly well centered and vibrant - I'd make that trade any day of the week!

    I'd say it depends on what you intend to do with the card. If you like Mays and want to keep the card for a while, you win. If you get the card graded and it gets a decent grade you win. If you want to trade the mays or sell it as is, you probably lost. Raw vintage doesn't sell all that well, probably a few examples on ebay of that card raw, selling for under $20.
