decided to do a lil in person tonight..
i live like 5 minutes from rancho cucamonga quakes stadium (advanced A for the dodgers) and they were playing the lake elsinore storm.
vicente padilla made a rehab start but i think he left the game early as i didnt see him..since i got there after the game ended. i waited kinda by the storm's bus and could of got the entire storm team if i wanted as they were all nice, but i dont know who any of them are and have nothing for them to sign.
long story short i got storm hitting coach phil plantier

btw, taking 50/50s on the california league.
(no griffey sr, drabek, plantier or lefferts)

empty mailbox again however today i attended the bakersfield blaze (advanced A for Reds) take on the inland empire 66ers (advanced A for the angels)...besides the fact that bakersfield crushed the 66ers 15-1...graphing was good. i dont have any cards but i decided i wanted Yasmani Grandal on a ball. he's a top prospect and i have a feeling hes gonna be good. he signed it prior to the game but my blue pen sucked. so after the game he redid it in black.. good enough for me

waited outside the clubhouse after the game, and ken griffey sr came out last and gave the graphers a hard time. he signed 1 per, and he gave a half assed auto but i cant complain. also met his wife (a very sweet lady). was with my girlfriend so she got me one also. yeah i wouldnt think the reds card was a real auto but it happened right in front of me

remember im taking 50/50s on the cal league. bakersfield is still open, but obviously none on griffey

Congrats on getting Griffey Sr., he is definitely a tough one to get IP. It sucks he gave you a half-™™™ autograph on the Reds card though. The only way I've been able to get him is to pay for it, then he gives a better auto.

today brings another set hit in kevin bass. thats number 62.
the index card was put in the sase for protection but he signed it. cool since im a brewers fan and he was on the 82 team (very little).
also the garner was singed in blue pen. looks worse in person than in the scan. was returned extremely fast though

great success today
as ive stated before i literally live like 5 minutes from quakes stadium.
i had just gotten home from a buddy's house and wanted to check to see if hong-chi kuo had done some rehab today for the quakes...the play by play stated that he pitched the 7th inning (it was now the bottom of the 8th)..i knew he would leave early so i drove over there and saw somebody walking towards the employee/player lot out of the quakes side of the stadium. so i asked the guy that mans that gate if kuo had left yet. he stated that he was currently walking to his car.. i power walked over there and asked him to sign my 2010 all star ball. after he put his bag in the trunk of his car he signed it with a smile. great guy and great success. only took 20 minutes to drive over there, get the autograph and drive home literally.

love the Taiwanese signature btw
