Anyone buy (recently) from Grizzly Sports Cards?
Hey Gang,
Curious if anyone has purchased from Grizzly Sports Cards (.com) recently? I've been looking to place an order there - but two messages to them have gone unanswered, and their website shows no 2010-11 hockey products which concerns me - makes me wonder if they are still operational.
If anyone has had a recent transaction with them - please let me know.
Thanks,
Halo

I've never bought anything from Grizzly but I periodically go on their site to compare prices. I was on there just after Christmas, and I noticed the same thing. It looked like their site had not been updated in a while.
Is there a telephone number listed on the site that you could call to see if they are still operational? You could try that if you are not getting any responses from your e-mails.

I have never used Grizzly, but two good sites I have used for Canadian orders are CanadaCardWorld, and Quecan. Both great prices, options, fast shipping.Never had any problems with either.

Thanks for the input to both of you -- all the research I've done points to out-of-date info for Grizzly.. so I don't think they're in business anymore. I'll have to find somewhere else to buy... I really liked that they had mid/late 90's stuff for dirt cheap - we're talkin' $10-15 a box.. which is what I'm looking for - something fun and cheap!

They do the expo everytime but yeah their updating or email answering is very slow.
If you hit the expo you can walk up say you want to clean them out and they give a great price.
I did the 97-98 Pinnacle Hobby a few years back where it works out to like $5.50/box when he had it at either $12/$15 a box.

Cool... thanks for the info.
Based on the fact that they're due to be at the Toronto Expo next month I figure they're still in business! lol and.. decided to place an order. I received an auto-message that they rec'd payment when I placed the order (03/13) and were 'packing' my order as of 03/15.
They state on the website to allow up to 72 hours for the order to be shipped - so that would bring me to 03/16 or even 03/17 and then I chose the XpressPost option which guarantees delivery within 7 days.... so I'll keep y'all posted!

I've used Canadian Hockey Cards.com before. Not bad prices and fast shipping! (Considering I'm in the UK).

Agreed... but I'm talking boxes, not singles.. so unfortunately they're not an option.
