Got a good response from Andrew on the first one here is the 2nd year card. I believe it to be real.

I got it from the flea market around my house off of a guy and bought his 2nd year card at the same time from him. I've had dealers mixed in between on whether it is real or not. They have all believed the 87-88 to be real though. After getting home I've looked up the reasons for it to be real or not and everything has matched up so far to it being real. Just looking for any experts opinions here.

It's fake, and I'm absolutely 100% certain. The borders are way, way too thin to be an authentic 1986-87 Fleer card. It's counterfeit, and a really bad one at that. It's not even close to the real thing.

Thanks! Just looking for some good verification, I'm going to upload the 87-88 pictures as well, could you confirm this one is real for me?

Gjohnson325: It's easier to tell with certainty if a card is fake than if it is real, but it seems likely from the picture you posted that the 1987-88 Fleer Jordan is real. The condition isn't that great (I'm guessing it would grade about a BGS/PSA 5 or 6), but at least it's probably real. BV is $60 for that one, and you can find them in NrMt-Mt condition for about $35 on average (sale value), so hopefully you didn't pay more than about $15-$20 for it in this condition. I hope that helps.

I got the two cards I posted for $10, so even with the fake Rookie at least this one makes it a good deal still.

Gjohnson325: Yeah, that's pretty reasonable for those. I'm glad to hear that you weren't ripped off. Enjoy the cards!
