Holy cow, tonite was incredible!!!!
It was 100+ miles to Blountville at the signing, and it took a little less than 2 hours to get there.
It was WELL worth it!
I took 4 hats, all of my sheetmetal of his, 5 1/24's, a 1/64, and a hero card, and he was VERY HAPPY to sign everything!
I asked for the # with the autos, and for the SM to be signed with the full last name, and he didnt hesitate to say yes!
When I first walked up to him, I said, "Hey Brad, Im 3dalesrfan3 from Twitter." and he just smiled, and knew exactily who I was, because we've talked on there before.
He talked to me like he'd known me for years, and he did the same with everyone.
Also, he personally said that he loved my collection, and it impressed him!
Towards the end when he was done signing, he was talking to his manager, and I just walked up to him and we talked for a little while.
We talked about how good the Miller Girls looked, and then I said, "Good luck this weekend. Bring home a W." and he just looked me in the eyes, gave me a firm hand shake and said, "Thats the plan. Thanks for the support!", and he patted me on the back when I walked away.
I also took a TON of pictures, and I will have them Monday.
After tonite, I like Brad twice as much as I did before, just because of how friendly he was to me, and everyone else!
He didnt care to talk to me for a good 10 minutes.
He wasnt bored, wasnt in a hurry, and signed everything that was brought to him.
I think it was cool that he actually remembered me, and didnt just say he did lol.
Also, Joey Logano was shopping while I was there
I walked all the way to the registers and asked if I could get a picture, and he was cool with that.
Didnt get an auto, but hell, I got a cool pic with him :)
He is tall! haha.
Thanks for reading!
Remember, this is just Part 1 of a 3 part weekend!!!!
