    Sell the Pierce collection????????

I have some expenses that came up and I am pondering the thought of selling my Paul Pierce collection. The collection consist of everything, base, rookies, inserts, serial numbered, game used, patches, auto's and 1/1 printing plates. There are over 100 auto's and 400 game used cards. About the only thing missing in the collection are logoman patches. There are close to 1400 different cards.
My question is...........do I sell it as a lot or break it down to singles and smaller lots???? Listing fees on ebay would be a killer.
What do you think is the best way to do it (if I have too)???

Personally, if it were me and my Garnett collection, I would sell absolutely everything else I own sports-wise before I even thought about touching my KG collection...so, my suggestion would be to sell everything except for your Pierce's first, and hope that you get enough so you don't have to dig into your Pierce collection.

    Good luck, bud!

It also depends on how fast you need the cash? If you need it really bad, you would probably have to sell as a lot. If you have some time you would end up with more cash if you sell them as singles.
Maybe it is an idea to sell your really low end base/inserts and gu as a lot, and sell the high end stuff as singles?

If you end up selling it, it is always more profitable to piece it out if you have the time.

If you must, try selling the things that you know you could get back first. 1/1's and other low numbered things may get you the most money, but they would be near impossible to get back. If you can get by with selling off the base, inserts, and high/or non-numbered GUs and autos, you would be able to get those back if you so choose.
