    Question abot case break?

So I havent been buying boxes or cases since I started collection but wondering if it is worth it to buy a case of cards. Here is an example:

Bowman Platinum Baseball card presell costs $1030 -- 1400 cards and 40 auto cards. Iyou you assume the 1400 cards to average 25 sents each, it puts the auto cards to $18 each.

Obviously there is some luck involved, but would it be usually be profitable to sell off cards and keep leftovers??

    short answer - No.

Longer answer - Just look at what the 2010 Platinums are selling for right now. base autos are well under $18, more like $3-5, unless it's someone like Mike Trout.

Then again, there's always the chance of getting that one huge hit that makes up for all of the junk.
