    Higher End Upper Deck Sucks

Is it me or is Upper Deck SP Authentics/SPX/SP Game Used/Signitures really over-rated. I like the regular Upper Deck cards but I really find that their higher end hobby boxes don't really yield anything good. I do admit that if you do get a good hit that the card is worth money but each time I open one of Upper Deck's higher end products I get some fringe player or a free agent rookie (ie.nothing).

Maybe it's just me that if you spend anything from 40-90 dollars for a box, I really expect more than a Romain Sato auto, or a Sasha Vujajic swatch.

i agree that boxes are a tough route with their mid-higher end. a ton of junk GUs in every pack.

that being said, high end UD singles are worth buying b/c they look great and the QC seems to generally be pretty good. let someone else suffer and get what you are looking for.

my personal preferences are Chrome/Bowman for boxes & UD for singles. panini has no place for either.
