Canucks Clinch Northwest
That's right. 4-2 win over the Avalanche means the Canucks are uncatchable in the NW. First team to clinch a playoff spot, let alone a division. I can't remember a season like this one. I hope the playoffs aren't a dud.

This might just be the year where the Canucks win their first Cup. It would mean the first Danish NHL player to lift The Cup (Jannik Hansen).

I'm surprised it took them this long. NW is, by far, the weakest division in the league (Vancouver is the only one that is currenly in a playoff spot..... and I don't think that will change).
They've got a really good team though. If Luongo can keep it together in the playoffs, it could be their year.

If they do Hansen will be a HUUUUUGE part of it. Definitely the unsung hero of the season.

I know, can you imagine if they played in the Pacific Division? Every team in the division has more wins than 2nd place Calgary in the Canucks division.
