    Upper deck 2011

Question for somebody to answer. I've been out of the loop BIG TIME over the past couple of months. Is Upper Deck releasing a Series 1 for Baseball cards? I've seen anything.

I could be wrong but I thought Topps is the only one with a MLB license so no upper deck anymore. If they do release something, it wouldn't be an MLB product so it would have to show players in their college uniforms (similar to 2010 SP Authentic did with fb)

What about Bowman? Aren't they owned / published by Upper Deck as well?

No, the Bowman brand name has been licensed by Topps since 1989. Topps is currently the only card company that has a license to produce MLB or MiLB cards. Donruss, In the Game and TriStar have been producing baseball cards with the uniform logos airbrushed out or covered up.

This is also probably the wrong forum for this thread.

This is very likely the wrong forum for it, but this is also one of the higher traffic forums, so I knew I was going to get an answer quicker.
