Artifacts Rookie Redemptions Questions (Parallels)
So I had a question about the Artifacts rookie redemptions.
I was told that the rookie cards for each player will have the same parallels as the live rookie cards in the product. IE: /699, /50, /35, /25, /5 etc etc.
First part would be, is this true?
Second part would be if this is true, I was told that the way UD does it is they redeem all of the codes input into their system with /699 first, until they run out then they start sending out the /50, and then when they run out they send out the /35, etc until they are down to the /5 and then run out. Is this true?
If it is true, what do you think the best strategy would be to get as many different versions of the card if you had 5+ codes of a single player?
Thanks for any insight. :)

I have not heard of any such thing being done for this year's cards.
All of this flows from the goof-up that UD made with the 07-08 rookie redemptions - they printed more redemption cards than the 599 actual cards that were to be made. As a consequence they had to print parallels in order to satisfy customer requests. There were /100, /50, /25, and /10 versions made. There *might* have been a 1/1 but I have no confirmation on that. The cards were sent out randomly so it was a roulette wheel basically as to what you'd get. I had two codes at different times and ended up getting 2 of the /50.
Like I said, I haven't heard about them doing this program for this year, but if they were there's really no strategy to it, it's the luck of the draw.Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...
