eBay help
Hi everyone.
I recently sold a card on ebay and have come up to a problem that I've never had before. After paying me, the buyer wants me to send to a different address than the one he has listed. I could be overthinking this because it is an auction that ended at a whopping $1.25, I just don't want to deal with any BS that could come from it (negative feedback mostly). I've researched online and most people just say that once you send the card to a different address you lose seller protection, but again, it's $1.25. I've asked the seller to change his address, but he said he has and it just won't show up, and when I try to print a shipping label that is indeed the case.
Do you think I should just send it? Again, just playing it safe here, I'm aware it's a small transaction. Thanks for your time.

for 1.25 i would probably do it. you do lose your seller protection because if he files a claim it wont shown as delivered to the listed address. but 1.25 is probably not worth a negative feedback. a higher dollar item i wouldnt send to a different address but its probably not worth the headache for you.

If he has good feedback, then this shouldn't be a problem.

I agree that if he has good feedback I'd send to this secondary address. For 1.25 it's not a big deal to give up your protection.
If it were more then I wouldn't send it. I had a buyer purchase a kindle for $140 or so and they had an unconfirmed address. I made them confirm their address before I'd ship... which they did.

Thanks for the help guys. I ended up just sending it, haven't heard anything yet.
Another dumb question. What is up with these stupid non paying bidders? This is the second week in a row I've had someone bid (last time won most, will probably happen again this week) on all of my auctions with no feedback and not pay! What do they have to gain? Am I missing something or are people just that lame/bored? On top of that, it probably looks to everyone like I'm shilling when I am definitely not.

Some people just back out after agreeing with the deal. It reflects badly on them, but there's not much you can do about it.
