Question about stated odds????

I recently purchased two boxes of 10-11 UD Series 1... both were sealed hobby boxes from a reputable dealer... Stated odds call for 2 jerseys and 6 young guns (the rest of the inserts I could care less about really) Both boxes produced 1 jersey each and 3 young guns from 1 and 5 from the other respectively... Has anyone had this happen to them?!?! what are the odds two boxes (most likely from the same case) are missing cards that they should have...?? I've had similar experiences with other companies failing to produce "hits" however never this bad. Suggestions on who/how I could go about getting this resolved? Is it even worth the time? I know Upper Deck has helped in the past with replacement cards for damaged goods that I pulled but haven't broke a box from them that didn't have the hits.
Any suggestions are appreciated...Please and thank you!

The odds are long for that.....I suspect they came from different cases after the hit boxes were pulled......or just brutal luck.

Not getting stated odds happens all the time. I once bought a box of cards that was supposed to contain 2 Jerseys and 2 Rookies, and ended up getting 4 Rookies and No Jerseys, The 2 Rookies which booked for well over $50.00 each. The Jerseys I might have gotten would sell today for less than $1.00.

As they say, stated odds are across the entire print run and you may not get the specified level of hits in each box. That said, very unusual to get shorted on two boxes like that.

I don't know how much help you will get from UD....The stated print run is that "stated". Not a guaranty. I busted a box of 08/09 SPA and got one auto (non-FW) , one FW RC and about 6 SP Essentials...horrible box for the price so I actually sent the entire box to UD (including photo copy of reciept, and a letter explaining my dissapointment)...they sent back all the cards saying they could only replace up to a certain amount . I didn't want the base back (that was in the letter).

I havn't had much luck with their Customer Service dept. Mind you even worse luck with Paninis' .

Customer Service in my opinion is "Hit or Miss" , pun intended

ugh yeah Jerseys I can overlook... I buy Upper Deck boxes for the young guns and the set collecting...

Young Guns and the exclusives and #10/ are really the only reason to buy Upper Deck Series 1 and 2. The Jersey cards are horrific and cheap and net you nothing back.

Unless I pull a Flyers PC...or a Crosby or Ovechkin to put on Ebay
