    If The Playoffs Started Today...

    http://www.nhl.com/ice/standings.htm...id=nhln-button

Some really good matchups in there. Fear not Flames fans, win a couple games and you're right back in it!

I love scoreboard watching at this time of the year and looking over everybody else's remaining games.

While I wish the Habs had some more home games before season's end, I am optimistic about their room to move up in the standings. 5 of their remaining games are against teams below them in the East, and they still have a date with the Bruins. Odds aren't in their favour to win the Northeast but there is always hope.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I don't want to see the Ducks. I really don't. This is one of those rare occasions when I cheer for Calgary and Dallas.

By that account it doesn't look good for Edmonton either

In all seriousness, I am getting a bit frustrated with the Sabres lack of consistency as of late...we go from playing with almost zero heart and getting shutout 1-0 against Carolina last Tuesday to scoring 8 on Saturday in a TOTAL annihilation of the Thrashers and then back to crapper with giving up 2 goals in the 3rd period and a goal on the first shot in overtime to lose a game that we should have won...unless we start playing every night for 60 minutes I don't see the Sabres going much past the first round :(

The Preds would sneak into a playoff spot for the 6th time in the last 7 years. Not too shabby.

    Rangers vs Capitals rematch

Capitals - won last 10 of 11 while scoring 33 goals.
Rangers - won last 6 of 7 while scoring 33 goals.

i think it'd be a fun series to watch.
