Getting Married In Vegas!

I've only been to vegas once and we stayed in a condo off the strip so I'm not sure about the hotel upgrade trick. We did take a cab to old vegas and we went a typical direct route and when we came back the guys took us on the interstate. It seemed about the same time but the fair was a bit more... but not a huge increase.

Just random stuff. Like even taxi service. I heard about taxi drivers at the airport try to get you to pay extra by taking you through the tunnel or something like that? Also I heard you could give the person at the front desk of your hotel $20 and they would upgrade your room. Anyone ever try that?

The taxi scam? Yes, if they take you into the tunnel that is the long way around if you are staying on the strip. When you get into the cab just say "no tunnel" and that should take care of that. The $20 dollar trick is hit and miss at best. Look at it this way would you want to lose your job over $20?

She looks too hott for you! J/K I live in Vegas, so I do agree about our dumb taxi drives trying to take the guests on the alternative route through the tunnel. It all depends where you are staying and that will decide what route to take.

The upgrade trick does tend to work at some of the lower end casinos, but don't expect to try this at Bellagio, Aria, Wynn, et cetera.

Either way; congrats and let me know if you need any further explanations and/or places to eat. My girl and I tend to go out to a higher end restaurant once or twice a month. We love eating and that's why I am bubbly!
