Where do your autographs go?
Be honest, how many of you collect autographs for yourselves and how many are getting them just to go on Ebay? Just curious as today I tried to do the Boston Bruins at practice. To me nearly everyone waiting with the exception of a couple people was there just to sell the stuff when they got home. Some players wouldn't even stop and just drove off. Really kills me how these people are, pucks and all kinds of stuff to be signed in their trunks.

I don't think you'll get anyone to admit they sell.
I've never sold ANY autograph to be honest, I've given them to family, friends, and even a couple members on here, otherwise they are for me.

Oh I think it is quite obvious when you have a bunch of pucks in your trunk and complain about how a guy is signing that it looks like crap. Sure I did that but only because I don't sell really. All I really have sold is a couple of cards and that was to help a guy with a collection he was getting done. Other than that it has always been trading autos. Also one guy was talking about a time he had 3 jerseys. Really who needs 3 signed jerseys?

I can admit I have sold an autograph before but I was young and dumb...I sold my Derek Jeter Topps gold rc and an 8x10 I got signed at an appearance when he played for the Greensboro bats. I sold both for a total of $90 about 11 years ago. I regret that sale to this today.

The only autos I've ever sold were pack-pulled. Otherwise, I have binders, cabinets and boxes filled with them.

I've never sold anything, but I have done some consignments and 50/50s....
Final Thoughts-not everyone out there is a dealer. Besides, dealers will never go away, you just have to deal with them, even though the ones near me are pretty rude...

I could honestly say that every autographs that I obtained IP or TTM goes straight into my PC. I still have everything from when I first started collecting all the way up to now. The only thing I've ever sold on Ebay are my McFarlane sports figures. I do despise dealers and sellers with a passion, but as TTMcardMaster stated, they'll never go away, as long as there is a market and demand for autographs.

I can honestly say that I have never sold one single signed item that I have collected over the years. I have given a few items to family and friends as a gift but I still have all my stuff. My wife calls my room "the dust collection museum"!

Nothing I have received TTM has been sold. Only gifted or kept.

Never sold a thing. This is a hobby for me. As a sports fan and collector, it's a great feeling knowing that I have received these items for me. I have only bought one auto, a MJD signed UCLA mini-helmet. He's my favorite football player currently, and it was a deal from a authorized website who obtained the auto at a show. I only obtain autos through email currently, and it's a thrill none the less. I'd like to eventually get into doing traditional TTM, but for now I'll continue with what I'm doing. It's a thrill for me, and I don't see myself selling any anytime soon.
As far as what I do with them. I get them, display them on a shelf for my memorabilia for awhile, then put them in a binder.
