Bones on Leno tonight
As a reminder, new UFC light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones is a guest on tonight's edition of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC.
The show, which is a 67-year late-night staple, airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT.
Joining Jones on the episode are "Dancing with the Stars" competitor Kirstie Alley and the Swedish indie-rock band Peter Bjorn and John.
Jones is the second UFC fighter to appear on "The Tonight Show." Former UFC champion Tito Ortiz also was featured in 2003, years before the sport began its move into the mainstream. Ortiz and fellow fighters, including Dean Lister, were featured in an "on-site report" at their Huntington Beach, Calif. Then-champ Ortiz, just days before a UFC 44 title fight with Randy Couture, also briefly was brought on stage for a quick introduction during the show.
Jones, though, is the first UFC fighter scheduled as a regular guest.
He'll discuss his UFC 128 performance and one-sided TKO victory over former champ Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. The charismatic 23-year-old also unquestionably will be asked to detail his crime-fighting episode. Just hours before his UFC 128 headliner, Jones and his coaching staff chased and detained a would-be thief in Paterson, N.J.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Jones acts now he is champ. Dana is right when he said things will change quickly for the 23-year-old .... I'm sure it has already started.
I'm hoping it's a humble Jones, not like the Jones we have seen the few weeks leading up to the Shogun fight.
I used to like Jones. He was really cool when we met him in Philly. But, getting that title shot changed him a bit. Hopefully, that was temporary. I guess only time will tell.

I'm recording it since i gotta work early. I really don't think the belt will change him like that. Lets be honest though who hasn't it changed a little. I mean he's the youngest champ in the UFC he has the right to be alittle cocky.

Sounds like a recipe for things to change. Considering the obvious, I think Jones has done a wonderful job so far. This young man has a lot of pressure on him.
