Is this really a Precious Metal card???
Hey all,
I'm a huge Olajuwon collector and was checking ebay for new listings of stuff that I need when I came across this card,
http://cgi.ebay.com/96-97-Fleer-Cybe...c#ht_500wt_922
Beckett does not list a Precious metal subset for that insert set, but the title on the card is green (emerald) so it could be. others in the set that I have ar normally silver. Is it possible that beckett just didn't know that there is a emerald precious metal version of the insert set?
Any help would be great!
Thanks
ZAch

this is not a precious metal gem. this is just an insert card from 96-97 fleer metal. very common. i have a ray allen, a vin baker, and a barkley from the same set

First years weren't numbered, I just thought that it was kinda weird that foil is green and the normal one are silver...who knows though

It should have silver/metal background, and I don't think this subset has parallel.

It's either keyword spamming or an uneducated seller

There's nothing precious about that. The full and proper name of that insert set is Cyber Metal. The guy's just trying to trick people.

The guy has like 5000 listings right now and every single olajuwon that he listed is correct, he doesn't seem like a scammer to me. check out this listing from the same guy

there is a green box in the upper left hand corner, I don't honestly think that this guy is a scammer though

Ya they didnt make precious metals for inserts. That year of metal only had precious metals for series 2 base set anyway i believe
