hasn't lost much speed, and has been great to the younger guys on the team. He still mixes it up in the crease.
im glad to have had a chance to root for him here and see him play in person.
he could play next year too!

Hall of Fame easily, but may have to wait a year or two longer than eligible because of the backlog in front of him.

I have been a big fan ever since his days in Montreal. He continues to impress.

it's kinda werid to think of him in the hall.
he deserves to be there I think. Just his numbers weren't great, just good, and consistent
He'll get in, he will, just a few years later than expected i think like the above post

What? Not Great? What do you expect from a Hall of Famer that has also won a Mug.

He's a renowned concussion specialist, apparently.
In all seriousness, a good player with incredible longevity. I don't think he's a HOF'er, but they do let just about anybody in these days.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Entry without question has been the norm for any that get 500 goals or more. It will happen.
Verbeek may be the first player with 500 to not make it, but not Recchi. 12th all time?
C'mon, what are the qualifications then? Spinning 60 plates while juggling chainsaws?
Seriously?

Mark Recchi was one of the players that drew me into following the Flyers in the mid to late 90's.
2 Cups, over 500 goals. I personally think he'll be a HoF'er within 5 years of retiring. Much like Lidstrom and Selanne, I hope he carries on next season.

Recchi is a compiler. Was he ever the best player on his team? I can't think of a time.
