    Rockets PC Pickups! Olajuwon!

    Salutations!

I am an avid Houston (Rockets/Astros/Texans) collector. Recently I have picked up various cards for my Rockets PC, thought I would show off some of my favorites.

Thank you for looking, the rest of my Rockets PC is in my bucket.

Very nice pickups. I'm actually an Olajuwon supercollector. I actually had that auto patch one on my watch list but it ended up going for more than I was willing to pay. Did you see that Absolute 10/10 jumbo patch that sold for $179 yesterday? It's crazy how much some of his Absolute cards have been selling for. I've been able to pick up Exquisite Auto Patches for cheaper than some of the Absolute stuff. Here's a link to my Olajuwon bucket if you want to check out my collection...

True! I was watching that patch card and it was outrageous. I thought about bidding on it, while it was alot lower. I recently picked up a Olajuwon Exquisite Patch Auto, such as the one in your avatar for fairly cheap. Though the patch doesnt look like yours.

I have some more Rockets cards coming in soon. So keep an eye on the thread.

I'll be sure to keep an eye on any of your posts. I think the average that I've paid for exquisite auto patches is about $60. I've even gotten a few for less than $50. The card in my avatar is the only card I've ever paid over book value for, but with that crazy patch I couldn't pass on it. I think the Absolute ones are going for so much because the product just came out. After a while they will probably cool down. That 10/10 Absolute patch card was really nice but I'd never pay what it ended up going for. Even the auto cards, which have sticker autos, are going for pretty high prices, which is why I haven't bought any. Very rarely will I be willing to pay anymore than $30 for a sticker auto.

Indeed. I paid around $30 for a 3x Patch of Olajuwon from 10-Absolute Tools of the Trade, so I wasn't going up to $180 for that other one.

Got some more Rockets pickups! Take a look!

Though all the cards are great for my collection, I am very fond of the Rudy Tomjanovich Chronology autograph.
