How do YOU store your vintage cards?

As a collector of many years, i have flip flopped at least a few times on the best way to store my cards.

Obviously you dont want them in bright light all the time which is a no brainer.

I have about half of my stuff in boxes , and about half in binders in Ultra pro pages.

Each individual card is in a sleeve for both the boxes, and binders.

I find the binders obviously get handled a lot more , as you can easily browse through your cards . There is the occasional risk of damage as cards can sometimes slide up out of pocket.

The boxes seem a lot more secure and possibly have less air exposure , as i have seen cards stored long term in binders that the very tops have become slightly more discolored then the rest of the card.

How do YOU store your vintage stuff?

Let me know on what your personal preference is , and what you feel is the "safest " way to protect your stuff.
